What is GAP

The bell rings when Wall Street sleeps. GAP is the gamified pre-market for tokenized stocks — a skill game played in the hours the official market is closed.

The 65-hour void

The New York Stock Exchange trades about 32.5 hours a week. Tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain trade 24/7. That mismatch — the nights, and above all the 65-hour weekend between Friday's 16:00 ET close and Monday's 09:30 ET open — is the only native edge this chain has. It is a stretch of belief that no official tape ever records. That gap is the whole game.

While the cash market sleeps, GAP runs a continuous on-chain read of where each listed ticker is heading. Night Traders post belief in $BELL; Monday's official open is only the judge. Right belief gets paid from a pot; wrong belief burns. Presence and conviction — not bag size alone — decide the split.

How a session works

The unit of play is a Session. Two kinds run:

  • Overnight (daily) — between one day's close and the next open, on the ticker's live Chainlink feed.
  • Weekend flagship — the marquee 65-hour void, Friday close to Monday open. Bigger pots, and where weekend streaks compound.

In a session you predict the open: will the ticker print GREEN ▲ or RED ▼ versus the prior official close? You stake $BELL on your call. The stake locks — it is not burned on entry. At the open, the result is read from a TWAP (time-weighted average) over the first minutes of trading — never a single tick — so no one can snipe a bad print.

$BELL is the chip, not the point

$BELL is the unit of belief for the weekend tape. It trades 24/7 with no "market closed" gate on the token itself — trading hours belong to positions, never to the token. The protocol is fully non-custodial and lives on Robinhood Chain (an Arbitrum Orbit L2).

Skill, not chance

GAP is a skill game: you read the tape, weigh conviction across tickers, and manage your ticket before lock. There is no house on the other side of your call — the pot is funded by players who called it wrong (and, later, a share of swap fees), and paid to players who called it right. It is zero-sum between Night Traders. See the FAQ for why that matters.
